Tetris, one of the most popular games ever created by Alexey Pajitnov, celebrated 25 years of its existence a few weeks back.
According to a recent announcement by EA, the variations of the classic puzzler, Tetris, has recorded more than 100 million downloads in the last 5 years.
The Android Market has some of the Tetris variations like Block Puzzle Lite, Androtris Free, Blocks and Tetris X.
The most basic version of the Tetris is Androtris Free. Although the real Tetris experience can be gained only by using an Android phone which has a QWERTY keypad, playing it on a touch screen or with a trackball is no less fun.
The Block Puzzle Lite (Free) was the first Tetris game developed for Android. Since this version had been developed by Bartolo IIliano, also known to have developed the Android Facebook app, the score of this came can be posted on Facebook.
Block has better graphics and representations, while Tetris X introduces players to a more retro gaming experience.
