Sky already has its partnership with Apple for providing its mobile TV app for iPhone and iPod.
Now the partnership is going to be better with the app now made available for the UK version of iPad.
Sky will offer the app free of cost on a one month trial basis. After the trial period, Sky subscribers will be able to use the app for £6 a month while non Sky subscribers will have to pay a £35 a month for using this app.
The subscribers will get Sky Sports 1 and 2, Sky Sports News and Sky News. These will work on a Wi-Fi connection of 2Mbps or more.
With the AppStore receiving some negative reviews of the app because of the hefty charge of £35 a month, we hope that there will be some special schemes being launched with the start of the Premier League later this summer.
