PlayScape Plus to use Amazon Appstore to push new games

Mobile games publisher MoMinis was rebranded as PlayScape back in February.

This coincided with it reaching 40 million users. PlayScape also announced 100 games launches in 2013.

The studio has now announced a partnership with Amazon to expand its games distribution. It will use new Amazon Appstore-based PlayScape Plus platform. The portal will have the latest and the ‘best’ premium and freemium PlayScape releases and Amazon users will receive discounts on in-app items.

The launch will be along with the most popular 10 games currently played by PlayScape users and new titles will be added every week.

Amir Dinur, VP Sales at PlayScape said that one of the primary goals for PlayScape is to make the best games more easily accessible in the mobile marketplace of today. The partnership with Amazon definitely drives this. The partnership will further help in end to end game development, distribution and marketing solutions for developers.
