Realizing the great potential of MVNO or mobile virtual network operator partner platform Orange recently collaborated with C mobile.
Through Transatel, the mobile virtual network aggregator Orange will now power C Mobile SIM. C Mobile will serve as an ethical MVNO partner for mobile reselling. The collaboration was initiated in 2009. During the current year C Mobile will target the prepay SIMs and handset deals in the ethical and eco market.
Through this C Mobile customers will be funding projects with grants on ecologically sustainable energy.
When contacted, Stephen Harris, Orange UK director of business development described this to be a great opportunity for the partners in MVNO market platform. According to him, in coming months they are going to explore more avenues with C mobile to fully utilize the potential of eco-mobile space.
Jon Lobb, Managing Director of C Mobile reciprocated Mr. Harris’s views while describing their partnership with Transatel through Orange Partner Platform. He also said that through this they would be expanding their UK MVNO operations more effectively.
