Only 44% mobile users trust mobile ads

Mobango, the cross-platform app store recently conducted a survey with the mobile users in India, Italy, the UK and the USA.

The survey wanted to find out what these users feel about mobile apps that have become so prominent now.

The survey disclosed that most mobile users have security fears about mobile ads. In fact 56% mobile users said that they don’t trust mobile ads at all. At the same time, the same percentage of users mentioned that they don’t mind downloading content to their mobile phone devices.

Among the users of mobiles in all these surveyed countries Indians showed a higher consumption of the mobile web compared to the Western countries.

This may come as a surprise but shouldn’t so because India is growing immensely in terms of smartphone and mobile web usage. Western countries may be more advanced in terms of mobile web usage but slower in terms of growth.
