O2 happens to be the sole network that has experienced growth this year with excellent response from customers, businesses and broadband users. Nevertheless, it might be difficult to maintain such a growth the following year.
Dunne told Mobile, a leading e-magazine that tendencies for mobile proceeds, voice as well text is growing, however the cover of data isn’t large enough to recompense for the fall in revenues for voice plus text.
Dunne stated that though their focus will be around the smartphones, the connectivity won’t be sufficient and the future returns will be dependant on the leading services.
Two sectors that really excite Dunne are financial services and mobile advertising. Few other thrust areas for O2 will be m2m and b2b convergence.
