No need to port iOS games to other platforms thanks to Marmalade Juice

Marmalade is a cross-platform development tool and it plans to launch Marmalade Juice that will remove the need to port iOS games to Android and other platforms.

iOS developers are looking at Marmalade Juice as something that will help them break barriers and allow them to target other ecosystems. This can be done by recompiling native OS APIs and Objective-C. These were formerly only available for use on the Mac and iOS within the Marmalade SDK.

Now the apps can be directly deployed on Android and other Marmalade supported platforms including BlackBerry, selected smart TVs, desktops and Macs. Optimization for the target platforms will be made possible within the original Objective-C codebase. Marmalade Juice also supports source-level debugging with the Marmalade simulator.

This is a one of its kind cross-platform SDK and has already been put to test by delivering Tap Paradise Cove (an iOS game) to Amazon Appstore and Google Play. is the home of mobile bingo – our current favourite is mmmBingo.
