MobileActive, the mobile content provider based out of Australia has reached a major milestone by setting up distribution channels in 97 countries worldwide.
The total number of mobile application downloads for the company stood at 216,800 in June 2009 and increased to 525,000 in March 2010. This means an increase of 140 percent. This huge increase in numbers is expected to go up further.
RingRing Studios, an in house division of MobileActive has been acting as the distribution partner for the company and has largely been responsible for achieving distribution channels in the 97 countries. More countries are being added as we read this article.
RingRing Studios is responsible for making eight mobile applications for MobileActive. These applications are available in eight languages. More applications are in the developmental stage and are expected to hit the market soon. RingRing Studios uses independent retailers, application stores and operators to distribute its applications.
