The company has already won the Meffy Award this year in the category of Best Mobile Social Media Service. Movellas is already attracting more than 75,000 visitors per month and generating half a million eBook downloads.

The concept of Movellas is simple. It allows people to read stories written by others or write their own and upload using the service. Movellas launched in Denmark in 2010 and the company is now pushing into the other markets in the West.

As per CEO Joram Felbert, Movellas has captured the imagination of many budding authors who want to express their feelings in words. The Movellas community is widely appreciating and the company is now looking to market beyond word of mouth. It is possible that the first author will be announced within the next six months.
