More than 1 million unique visitors to M&S

On May 12 2010, Marks & Spencer hired MIG to work in partnership with Usablenet to enable their website to offer great design, functionality and customer experience.

Some of the great features on the online store include locating the nearest store, the ability to register with the online store and also to search for items and refine further for specific items.

The results have been great ever since the launch. There have been 1.2 million unique visitors to the site which has enjoyed more than 10 million page views. More than 13,000 orders have been booked with the highest figure at £3,280 for two sofas.

Sienne Veit, Manager – Social and Mobile Commerce Development, Marks & Spencer, stated that the aim of the online store is to make it easy for customers to search for products and pay for them via their mobile. Along with providing choice of delivery modes, the site also has a feedback mechanism.
