Million and counting for Virgin Media

Virgin Media now has its millionth mobile contract customer, its customer base now increasing by 40 percent in the last 12 months.

It is a major milestone for the company and its investors.

Graeme Oxby, Executive Director, Virgin Media Mobile and Home Phones, was delighted with the induction of the millionth customer and promised to continue with developments in the quad play lineup of mobile, broadband, TV and home phones.

As per Mr. Oxby, more and more customers are opting for Virgin Media services to make the most of the digital world. This is because of the availability of exciting new handsets and value for money bundles and Virgin Media’s simple and flexible market leading market tariffs.

As per the company, after the introduction of free calls from Virgin home phones to Virgin mobile phones, customers made more than 70,000 hours of calls, resulting is savings of more than £100,000 a week.
