Microsoft looking for Windows Phone team members

Microsoft is looking for people to be part of the next generation Windows Phone devices.

The ‘Career’ section of Microsoft has invited applications for the Customer Experience Engineering team by referencing Windows Phone 7 but clearly specifies that candidates need to look at the next version that is either going to be an upgrade to WP7 or a completely new version.

The job involves being part of shaping the future of mobile technology in the fastest growing business of Microsoft – the Mobile Device Division. The incumbent is expected to partner test, PM and development and be part of the total life cycle and also help the CXE (Customer Experience Engineering) team to create and drive the infrastructure to delight end users.

The job responsibility includes automation development, designing and coding reviews, creating test tools and execution. A strong passion for customer needs is a definite plus for this job.

However, it will be probably the end of 2010 when we can see the new version.
