Location-based FIFA 14 mobile ad campaign from EA Sports

A location-based ad campaign for FIFA 14 has been launched by EA Sports together with Mobsta.

Mobsta is the mobile division of Ad2One, the digital advertising firm.

Ted@MediaCom, the media agency of EA Sports, arranged the promotion. It will run across the UK till 19 October and will target more than 400 games including the Premier League, the Champions League and the FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifiers to be played by the England team.

The content will be across location-based Android and iOS apps using the Mob-Geo smart fence tech from Mobsta. The creative is based on fans watching games sitting at a stadium and it will reach a radius of 3km.

The ad is expandable banner that converts into a HTML5 video with options for click-through to buy the game from http://www.easports.com/uk/fifa/wearefifa14.
