Kyte, the video platform is going to launch their new video live streaming for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
This will allow users to broadcast on demand and live videos to these devices. Kyte customers, through this new service, can create native iOS apps for video live streaming while supporting HTML5 live streaming to aid browser based access for the flash-less Apple devices of Apple.
Kyte is also going to include social networking through this application, allowing Facebook and Twitter commenting and sharing plus chatting and rating. The publishers of these apps can now make money from the pre and post roll video ads served from companies. This also includes Doubleclick.
Kyte has competition from other companies like Justin.tv, Qik and Ustream but the company has always focused on big brands and music artists. The current clients of Kyte include Nokia, MTV, ESPN, CBS, ABC, Clear Channel, Fox News and NBA Digital.
