Even before the iPad saw the light of the day in U.K., Mobile 3 announced the details of the data plans of the iPad.
Users who want to use data up to 1GB will have to pay £7.50 per monthly. The tariff can be activated or deactivated at anytime as the user will not be bound by any contract.
The iPad tariffs offered by Mobile 3 are being compared with the other mobile service providers of U.K. like Vodafone and Orange. 1 GB data usage is being offered at £10 monthly by Vodafone. For 3GB usage the monthly plan is of £15 and £25 for 5GB.
Orange offers weekly plans for £7.50 up to 1GB and monthly plans for £15 and £25 for up to 3GB and 10GB respectively. Daily plan of £2 for up to 200MB is also offered.
The sales and marketing director of Mobile 3, Marc Allera, said that the company is pleased to offer such “competitive data plans”. The company boasts of the largest network in the country with customers amounting to over 6 million.
