Industry reacts to iPhone 5

iPhone 5 is expected to sell 10 million units on September 21, the launch date.

Compare this to the 4 million units of iPhone 4S units sold in the first three days of launch.

Rumors flew all over and speculations have been rife. Experts, however, said that Apple needs to come up with something more than just better cameras and Siri to give its loyalists what they deserve.

iPhone 5 hasn’t disappointed – it has a better camera, the A6 processor, a four-inch screen and of course, 4G LTE.

However, Apple’s claim that iPhone 5 is the thinnest smartphone in the world is not true. Users who wished for a mini USB port and a stronger screen didn’t have their wishes fulfilled. And NFC is still missing in iPhone 5.

Industry experts have hailed the new Apple smartphone but one buzz going around is that perhaps the expectations were more than what Apple came up with.
