Google wants Google Play in-app payment process for Android games

Google is updating its Google Play Developer Program Policies.

They now want developers to use the in-app billing services when they sell virtual products within Android games.

No third-party payments for in-app purchases will now be allowed for Android game installed from Google Play.

The only exceptions to the rule are tickets and products with subscriptions and hard copies included in the price.

System integration provision changes now forbid Google Play to make device changes outside of apps and the users have to be made aware and their consent has to be taken.

Google Play is also changing its advertisement policy where ads built into an app cannot be displayed outside of the application. This means users can dismiss ads without having to click or follow links.

Google is cracking the whip and Android developers have all of 30 days to make changes to conform to the new policies and rules.
