Gamevil celebrates exceptional 64% growth in 2012

Gamevil, the games publisher and developer had its best year to date in 2012 when it reported a 64% growth in Q4.

The Q4 results were announced last week and revealed record highs across sales, operating and net profits.

During the 2012 fiscal year $65 million was generated through sales, $22.3 million was the operating profit and $20.7 was the net profit, meaning y-on-y growths of 64%, 38% and 39% respectively.

Gamevil had domestic sales growing by 34% but did superbly in international sales where it notched up a massive increase 153%. This meant $25.4 million in sales, with international profits growing from 25% of total sales in 2011 to 39% in 2012.

One of the key factors behind the growth is its focused efforts in third party publishing. The performance was pumped up by titles like Cartoon Wars, Monster Warlord and Punch Hero.

Gamevil has projected a 42% increase to $92.6 million in sales for 2013.
