Funzoo goes live

The new web based one stop shop for smartphone apps and games, Funzoo, has now gone live.

The store already offers more than a thousand products from major publishers like THQ, Fox, Real, Glu, EA and others. Some of the popular games include Call of Duty, Tetris and Doodle Jump and apps like ForcaWeather and Personal Money. All major platforms like Android, BlackBerry, Java and Symbian are covered.

Zamano and Selatra, who jointly promoted Funzoo, say that it is more than just a retail store. One off downloads are available for download at between £1 and £4.99 but what Funzoo is really aiming at is to build a community around its services. It has its own Facebook and Twitter pages, letting users share and review the products. There are also plans in place to create a Funzoo blog.

Currently users pay for services through PayForIt although PayPal options are in plan.

Mobile Bingo is becoming more and more popular in the UK – try a game of mmmBingo or iPhone Bingo.
