A few weeks ago Sports Interactive had announced that the Football Manager Handheld 2010 will be launched on the iPad and the iPhone.
Miles Jacobson, MD of Sports Interactive posted on the company’s forum that the launch of the game on the iPhone was their “best kept secret”.
The Football Manager Handheld is expected to be a huge success because there is hardly any competition around. The only football game on the iPhone is the Square Enix’s Championship Manager 2010 Express. The iPhone users can choose from 34 leagues from 11 countries to play FMH.
A squad of 36 players can be made. Individual player instructions, tactics, transfers and trainings have to be controlled by the users. The game will come with a price tag of £6.99. However, it has been promised by SEGA, the publisher, and Sports Interactive that it is “the best football management game to hit the iTunes Store ever”.
The game had to be modified to suit the iPhone and iPad platform. Users will be able to listen to music while managing their team.
