Deutsche Telekom and Spotify come together for mobile music

Spotify has again extended its footprint now teaming up with Deutsche Telekom to offer Premium subscriptions into the price plans of the latter’s users.

An integrated tariff plan has been announced for the subscriptions and will cost about €30. Those not on the price plan can pay €10 a month to get a Spotify bolt-on.

This partnership will give the customers of Deutsche Telekom online and offline access to more than 18 million songs across PCs, phones and tablets. There is a separate data pool for connected listening and this means those streaming online will not need to bother about data consumption.

This is not the first partnership of this kind. T-Mobile Austria already has a similar partnership with Deezer in an attempt to curb illegal downloads.

The partnership allows Deutsche Telekom to access the world of music without requiring any digital storage space. Sharing music also becomes easier with this option.
