BlackBerry goes back to roots with brand new device

BlackBerry seemed to have realized where it strength lies – the QWERTY keypad and its rather popular menu, send, back and end buttons.

It has now come up with a new Q20 smartphone with 3.5 inch screen placed on top of the keypad, thus offering a mix of full touchscreen with the original BlackBerry experience.

The new smartphone has been designed after constant customer feedback where they mentioned how the original BlackBerry design made them so much more productive and allowed them to perform all those essential office works. The idea was conceptualized by John Chen, Executive Chairman and CEO of BlackBerry. With this new smartphone the company wants to convey the message to its customers that their voice has been heard.

The new Q20 will be launched in the second half of this year and will have all the up to date enhancements of Blackberry 10.

We’ll wait and watch for the response.
