AR album cover to feature Monster from KISS

Universal music and Aurasma have come together to work on creating an AR-enabled cover for the new album Monster from KISS.

Fans will be required to download the uView app to see a 3D animation of KISS. Fans can see them animated in various forms – bobbleheads, Hallelujah or rocking out to Hell.

Matt Mills, Head of Sales – Aurasma, said that the company is thrilled to partner with Universal Music and KISS, one of the legends of rock music. The uView app, powered and enabled by Aurasma, has augmented a 3D animated version of Monster. Fans can also see the 3D tongue of Gene Simmons.

KISS was first formed in New York City in 1973 and it has received 28 gold albums till date. Although the band reached its peak in terms of popularity in the mid to late 1970s there has been a surge in their popularity lately, especially in the last few years.
