Androids will now have Flash support from Adobe

Great news for Android users! Adobe, the global leader in electronic publishing will soon offer its flash player for Android phones.

With flash players in their phones, Android users will be able to enjoy video and other multimedia applications in their phone in a much better way. We may remember that Apple rejected Adobe’s offer on having Adobe flash on their iPad tablet PCs, and experts think that this move will help Google take advantage over Apple in the mobile phone segment.

Adobe has already started testing the beta version of the player for Android. As per Lee Brimelow, an Adobe platform expert the company is carrying out private tests now and will soon have public beta versions soon.

Shantanu Narayen, Adobe’s CEO recently revealed in an interview that Adobe Flash is going to be introduced in Google and RIM and Palm smartphones and tablets within this year. He also said that Apple’s attempt to keep Adobe Flash out of mobile ecosystem like iPhone and iPad and iPod touch is quite discouraging.

According to Narayen it is more of Apple’s business decision over technology decision as Apple wishes to keep their system a closed box type but finally it is going to deprive its users.
