Vodafone announced the launch of an Android App that will make Vodafone 360 accessible to numerous multiple operating systems, networks and devices.
This Android application for Vodafone People is being introduced with the aim of increasing the number of Vodafone 360 registrations, which is on a constant rise. Vodafone 360 witnessed 4000 registration in a day in January.
The Android users need to register for Vodafone 360 to be able to use Vodafone People. This unique application allows the users to seamlessly sync their contacts from the Android phone with the contacts of their email and chat accounts into one consolidated address book. The user of Vodafone People will be entitled to social network feeds too.
A demonstration was presented by the operator at the Mobile World Congress today. The company also promised that the application will be available “soon”. The internet service director of Vodafone, Peter Knook, also assured that additional platforms and devices will be introduced in the near future.
