FaceFighter, an iPhone game developed by US based developer Appy Entertainment, has been downloaded almost 1 million times during a free promotion.
In a matter of six days in the previous week, the free game was downloaded 990,820 times by iPhone users. The game was released in 2009 as a paid title. It was available for free download during the promotion of a new game by Appy called Tune Runner.
FaceFighter is a game that allows players to import the pictures of friends for being used as opponents in a boxing match. As a part of the promotion for Tune Runner, players of FaceFighter would be invited to download the new game. Tune Runner is currently at the top of the category charts in the App Store across the world.
After the week long stint of free download, FaceFighter has been returned to its previous price tag of $1.99.
