AdSense integrated into AdMob

Ever since Google spent $750 million to take over AdMob, the mobile ad network, it was expected that it would integrate AdSense.

And this is exactly what happened. This new move will increase the fill rate of the existing partners of AdMob and also extend the reach for the Google advertising campaigns.

App developers for Android and iPhone on the AdMob network will now have access to AdSense ads whenever there is no AdMob ad available. Those publishers using a recent version of SDK will not need to update their code and will receive a single monthly check from AdMob.

The publishers will not be able to filter the AdSense ads running in their apps and those who have filters in place for AdMob ads will now need to opt to receive Google ads. Those iPhone and Android app publishers with no filters will be opted in to receive the ads in a phased manner.
