30.3 million iPhones to be shipped this quarter

Following the better than expected performance of iPhone 4S since its launch in October, the analysts at Susquehanna Financial Group have revised their numbers regarding the quarterly shipment of iPhones.

The projection made by these analysts is in line with what was made by UBS analyst Maynard Um a couple of weeks ago when he claimed that Apple would end up shipping 30 million iPhones in the last quarter of 2011. The previous yearly estimate of the numbers to be shipped was 104.4 million units that has now been revised to 111.4 million.

As per Jeffrey Fidacaro, an analyst at Susquehanna Financial Group, the demand for iPhone looks very solid at the moment with the online stores continue to ship iPhone 4S in one to two weeks online. Stores are also sold out for pick up and in-store reservations. Positive color from AT&T and Best Buy has also changed the iPhone shipment forecast. is the UK’s leading mobile bingo portal.
