$15 million boost for App Annie for product development

App Annie, the analytics services provider has been busy lately.

It has introduced real-time support and data tracking and support for the Amazon Appstore and the Windows Store.

The company’s user base has also doubled in the past 12 months and monthly recurring revenues have tripled.

All the work seems to have paid off and App Annie has now secured a $15 million Series C funding round to expedite product development and also expand its sales and marketing HQ in San Francisco and expand global offices across Asia and Europe.

Investors include, Greycroft Partners, Infinity Venture Partners, IDG Capital Partners and Sequoia Capital. uSamp CEO Alan Gould and Sequoia partner Tim Lee will join the board of directors of App Annie.

Among its most important customers are Google and Microsoft. App Annie products are used by more than 90% of the Top 100 iOS app publishers by revenue.
